We have stayed here once before in the large house with our family and it was amazing. This time, we stayed in a much smaller room as it was only two of us. The room was small with two twin beds, but it had all we needed. However, there was some sort of wet dog smell in the room and we literally couldn't figure out where it was coming from. It really moved around, but we weren't to surprised as the windows were openand we had a fan. We sent an email to the staff and they indicated that they were going to look into it and take care of the problem. This did not happen. We stayed for two nights with no solution to the smell problem. I am sure they will take care of this situation and I would stay there again, except maybe not in room 3. This place is really nice and a great value for your money, but a tad noisy due to the close proximity of the road. It really isn't a problem, but when your right next to the road.. it can get pretty loud. They really do try to lesson that noise with a noise machine, ear plugs and a fan in the room. Also, this really wasn't a problem, but it was quite hot during the day and they do not have ac in the rooms. Now, the star of the show is the restaurant "granny's". This place has amazing food and the ice cream is to die for. It is so cute inside here and reminded me of some places that I went to in Missouri. YOU MUST GET SOME SOFT SERVE ICE CREAM FROM HERE. It's well worth the visit!!!!!
We loved our stay here! The location was beautiful, food at granny’s cafe was yummy, and our favorite part was visiting the sweet animals in the back! Our room was very clean and the decor was beautiful & cozy! Also liked the self check in/out and someone available for help/questions by text. Definitely recommend!
The rooms were beautifully decorated and clean! There’s a very quaint, log cabin feel to them. The nearby cafe and animal farm are a must visit. The food is delicious. I ordered a grilled chicken Caesar salad. 🥗 The walls are thin but, the neighbors were quiet. I’d stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the National park.
We stayed in a tent campsite here for three days. It was lovely! Easy fresh water access and nice heated bathrooms. Also, the shower was a real comfort after days of long rainy hikes. The animals also always put a smile on our faces - Tango also kept our hands warm with plenty of pets :) Granny's cafe is an iconic spot to eat for a reason - couldn't be more delicious and comfy after a long day and so special that it's a stone's throw away from the campsite! The Emerald valley inn staff was kind and responsive over text throughout our stay - it was a wonderful visit and I'd highly recommend to anyone in the area whether camping or not!
Just off highway 101, this place is like going back in time but with all the amenities of today. Stylish clean, quaint rooms comfortable beds and plenty of space including a private patio out back. The property is fun to roam, with friendly farm animals and a beautiful meadow in the back of the property. Granny’s restaurant did not disappoint either! Amazing breakfast and a dining experience surrounded with things from times gone by. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, too. Highly recommend both inn and restaurant!
Amazing stay at the perfectly located Emerald Valley Inn. Woke up to mountain views and had easy access to Port Angeles (11min) and Lake Crescent. Beds were immensely comfortable, room was nicely designed, kids loved the onsite animals, and nice quiet evenings. Cafe breakfast was good too, only complaint was the 9a opening time, wish it was earlier.
Wonderful place to stay. Very comfortable guesthouse rooms and beds. The over all house is well kept. Granny’s cafe had delicious food for every meal. Perfect location for Olympic NP’s places to be visited. Visitor center - 20 min, Sol duc valley - 45 min, Hurricane ridge - 1hr , Hoh rainforest- 1:45 min, Realto beach - 1:10min
